CHARITABLE PURPOSE

This Giveaway is conducted exclusively for charitable purposes in support of Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, Inc., a qualified nonprofit organization. The Giveaway is intended to further Habitat for Humanity’s charitable mission and community development efforts.

ELIGIBILITY

The Habitat for Humanity Property Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is open to attendees of The Property Challenge Live in Atlanta, Georgia tentatively scheduled for Summer 2026. Must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible to win. Employees, contractors, and agents of Terrica Lynn Smith LLC, Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, Inc. and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household, are not eligible to enter the Giveaway or win the prize.

Entry into the Giveaway does not require the purchase of goods or services, payment of money, or any other form of consideration, and a purchase will not increase an entrant’s chances of winning.

The specific address and value of the property will be disclosed to the winner. Ownership of the house is transferred to the winner as identified on the winning entry.

Terrica Lynn Smith LLC will coordinate with the winner to transfer ownership of the house as soon as reasonably possible. Winner accepts the house as-is with no representations or guarantees made by Terrica Lynn Smith LLC as to the condition or fitness for habitability, occupancy, or any other use or purpose.

PROPERTY TRANSFER CONDITIONS

Transfer of the property prize is subject to applicable state and local laws, title requirements, and customary closing procedures. The prize may not be substituted, assigned, or redeemed for cash.

WINNER RESPONSIBILITIES

Winner is responsible for all costs of transferring ownership of the house to the winner, including taxes, closing costs, and other legal expenses.

TAX DISCLAIMER

Entry into the Giveaway is not a charitable donation. Terrica Lynn Smith LLC and Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, Inc. do not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. Any tax consequences associated with participation in the Giveaway or receipt of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. No portion of participation in this Giveaway should be treated as a charitable contribution unless expressly stated in writing by Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, Inc.

Terrica Lynn Smith LLC and Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, Inc. do not provide tax guidance regarding the transfer of ownership.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

To be eligible to win, the entrant must be physically present at the Property Challenge Live in Atlanta, Georgia at the time of the drawing, which is set to occur during the Property Challenge Live Conference. Virtual and remote attendees of The Property Challenge Live are not eligible to win. The holder of the ticket at the time of check-in to the Property Challenge Live conference is the only person allowed to claim the prize. Tickets purchased by an individual, but transferred to another individual, do not permit the purchasing individual right or authority to claim the prize.

ODDS OF WINNING

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

RELEASE

All entrants agree that, if they are selected as the winner of this Giveaway, Terrica Lynn Smith LLC and Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, Inc. may use the winner’s name and likeness, including photographs taken of the winner at the conference, for Terrica Lynn Smith LLC and Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, Inc.’s own commercial purposes without compensation.

By participating in this Giveaway, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Terrica Lynn Smith LLC, Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, Inc., and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Giveaway or receipt, use, or misuse of the prize.

WINNER VERIFICATION

The selected winner may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, publicity release, and any other documentation reasonably required to complete prize transfer and confirm compliance with these Official Rules. Failure to timely execute such documents may result in forfeiture of the prize.

NONPROFIT PARTICIPATION CLARIFICATION

Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, Inc.’s participation in this Giveaway does not constitute an endorsement of Terrica Lynn Smith LLC or any of its commercial products or services.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

This Giveaway is intended to comply with applicable Georgia charitable gaming laws and regulations. In the event of any conflict between these Official Rules and applicable law, applicable law shall govern.

GOVERNING LAW

The Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law rules. By entering the Giveaway, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Giveaway or the prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Georgia.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY, VERIFICATION, AND PRIZE CONDITIONS

IDENTIFICATION AND PRESENCE REQUIREMENT

To be eligible to win and claim the prize, the selected entrant must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and must be physically present at the drawing location at the time the winner is announced. The selected entrant must immediately present a valid, government-issued photo identification confirming identity and age at the time of selection.

Failure to immediately present valid government-issued identification at the time the winner is announced will result in automatic disqualification, and an alternate winner will be selected. No exceptions will be made. Terrica Lynn Smith LLC and Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, Inc. will not delay, pause, or hold the drawing to allow a selected entrant to retrieve identification from another location, including but not limited to a hotel room or vehicle. Presence and identification at the time of selection are mandatory conditions of winning.

PRIZE ACCEPTANCE AND TIMING REQUIREMENTS

The selected winner must complete all required documentation and accept transfer of the property prize within thirty (30) calendar days of winner notification. Acceptance includes execution of all required affidavits, releases, closing documents, and satisfaction of any legal, financial, or logistical requirements necessary to complete the transfer.

Failure to complete the property transfer within the thirty (30) day period for any reason, including but not limited to lack of funds, inability to secure financing, failure to execute required documents, or inability to satisfy closing requirements, will result in automatic forfeiture of the prize.

In the event of forfeiture, Terrica Lynn Smith LLC reserves the right to award the prize to an alternate winner selected in accordance with these Official Rules. Neither Terrica Lynn Smith LLC nor Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, Inc. shall be responsible for any costs, expenses, maintenance, holding costs, taxes, insurance, utilities, legal fees, or other expenses incurred in connection with the prize prior to forfeiture or reassignment of the prize.

CONSTRUCTION, DEVELOPMENT, OR PROPERTY MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE

The prize consists solely of the transfer of ownership of the property as described in these Official Rules. Terrica Lynn Smith LLC does not guarantee, promise, or imply any assistance with construction, renovation, development, financing, leasing, resale, or property management related to the prize property.

Any prior, contemporaneous, or future discussions regarding potential construction, renovation, or property management services are not part of the Giveaway and do not create any obligation on the part of Terrica Lynn Smith LLC.

Following completion of the property transfer, Terrica Lynn Smith LLC may, at its sole discretion, provide the winner with contact information for third-party service providers. Any such providers are independent third parties with whom Terrica Lynn Smith LLC has no ownership interest, control, partnership, or affiliation. Terrica Lynn Smith LLC makes no representations or warranties regarding the services of any third party and assumes no responsibility or liability for any engagement, agreement, or outcome between the winner and such providers.
